Fillmore County Warrant Records Fillmore County Warrant Records

Warrant information in Fillmore County sits with a few offices: the District Court that issues the orders, the Sheriff who serves them, and the jail that handles custody. Working out which one holds the piece you need is the hard part. We built this site so a reader can land on the right counter, phone number, or public record request without bouncing between government websites.

Why We Built This Site

Minnesota opens a great deal of court and county information to the public, but the trick is knowing which office holds the piece you want. A warrant does not live in one place. The District Court in Preston issues it and sets the bail. The Sheriff serves it and can say whether it is still outstanding. The jail answers custody questions. Fillmore County has no municipal or justice-of-the-peace criminal court, so a missed date does not create a separate city warrant docket. Minnesota also has no public statewide warrant search. A reader who checks one office, finds nothing, and stops there can end up with the wrong answer, so we pull the addresses, phone numbers, case search, and request steps together in one place.

What You Will Find Here

The site covers the main warrant questions a Fillmore County reader runs into, and each topic points at the office that actually holds the answer.

  • Warrant lookups: how to run a warrant search by name and date of birth through the state case system and the county
  • Outstanding warrants: how to check for active warrants and what an "active" status does and does not prove
  • Missed court dates: how bench warrants arise and which court holds them
  • Charge-based warrants: how arrest warrants are issued on probable cause and served in Fillmore County
  • Resolving a warrant: the steps that clear a case, from talking with an attorney to posting bond and asking the court about a recall

What We Cannot Do

This is a privately run reference site. We have no connection to any Minnesota court, sheriff's office, or state agency. There are real limits to what we can help with:

  • We cannot confirm whether a warrant exists for anyone, because we hold no warrant records
  • We cannot recall, quash, remove, or clear a warrant on any system
  • We cannot accept a payment or post bond toward a warrant
  • We cannot arrange a court date, a surrender, or a walk-through at the jail
  • We cannot give legal advice or say how a warrant applies to your situation
  • We cannot promise that every phone number, fee, or listing here is current today

Only the court that issued the warrant or the Sheriff's office that serves it can confirm whether it is still active. We can send you to the right office, but the answer has to come from them.

Search Partners

Some pages here carry search boxes run by outside companies. Those providers set their own prices and operate their own services. If a search leads you to a paid signup, we may receive a referral fee, and that revenue helps keep the site free to read. We do not control what a provider charges or what its results contain, and nothing it returns counts as an official warrant check.
